Federated was founded in 2002 by a retired US Army Special Operations Communications Officer and a Retired US Marine Corps Officer with the goal of focusing exclusively on supporting the National Security mission. We design, build, integrate, secure and sustain the networks that enable our clients to communicate in a manner that enhances the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their critical information.

Giving Back
At Federated IT, our Mission to support the Warfighter doesn’t end with securing and enhancing the Government’s IT networks. We also believe in giving back to the warfighter and our employees by supporting programs that enhance their lives and the communities they are working to protect. Federated IT and its employees donate their time, services, and money to organizations that include, but are not limited to the following;
During the month of December, Federated IT teams with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program to collect new, unwrapped toys from employees to give to less fortunate children in the community. Federated IT generously matches all employee donations.
Federated IT’s Executive Leadership proudly serves on Team Rubicon. Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of Military Veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams.
Close to 40% of Federated IT team members are Military Veterans and over 10% are currently active in the Military Reserves or National Guard. We honor our team’s commitment to serving our country by being proud supporters of the Wounded Warrior Project. The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower our Nation’s Wounded Warriors.
